Rue
Intention: Protection, banishing, clear sight
The 'herb of grace' has a long history as a guard against ill will and envy.
Safety: Rue can cause skin burns and is unsafe to eat or handle bare-handed. Use symbolically, with gloves, or as a picture or token.
